Wildcats return to Big House with win over Ocean Springs

The Wildcats defeated Ocean Springs in the MHSAA 7A Quarterfinals on Saturday, February 24, 2024, on the campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
MHS led 15-12 after the first quarter and the game was tied 24-24 at halftime. The Wildcats led 36-34 after the third quarter and came away with at 50-46 victory.
Meridian (22-9), will return to the MHSAA 7A Semifinals when they face Germantown (14-15), on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at the Mississippi Coliseum.

Meridian High Girls 29, St. Martin 46
The Lady Wildcats advanced to the Elite 8 but came up short losing to St. Martin 46-29 in the MHSAA 7A Quarterfinals on Saturday, February 24, 2024, on the campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. The Lady Wildcats finished the season 17-11.
