Ribbon cutting held for MHS Boys' and Girls' Weight Rooms
The Meridian Public School District held a ribbon cutting for the Boys’ and Girls’ Weight Rooms on the campus of Meridian High School on Monday, April 15, 2024.
The combined renovated areas consisted of over 5,600 square feet of workout space with 26 total MCats branded stations for Meridian High School student-athletes.
The total cost of the project was $450,000, which included the weights, flooring, and renovations for both rooms.
The weights that were previously in the weight rooms are now being used at Magnolia and Northwest to start strength and conditioning programs at the middle school level.
