MHS’ Walker named to prestigious Tomorrow’s 25 Coaching Fellowship

MERIDIAN, Miss. – Meridian Public School District is proud to announce that Meridian High School Track and Field, Cross Country, and Indoor Track and Field Head Coach Regonal Walker has been selected as one of only 25 coaches across Mississippi to participate in the 2026-2027 Tomorrow's 25 Coaching Fellowship.
Presented in partnership by the Mississippi Association of Coaches (MAC) and the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA), the Tomorrow's 25 Coaching Fellowship is a prestigious leadership development program that recognizes coaches who demonstrate exceptional competence, character, and leadership potential. Coach Walker earned this distinction through a highly competitive statewide selection process.
The ten-month fellowship is designed to develop emerging coaching leaders who will positively impact their athletic programs, schools, and communities. Throughout the program, participants will engage in leadership development sessions, receive mentorship from respected coaches and educational leaders, and collaborate with fellow coaches from across the state to strengthen their leadership skills and broaden their impact beyond athletics.

"He is committed to developing young people both on and off the track, and we are excited to see him continue growing as a leader through this outstanding opportunity.
