MHS boys win MHSAA 7A Region 3 Tournament

The Meridian High School Boys' Basketball team captured the MHSAA Boys Region 3 7A District Championship with a 56-51 victory over Brandon on Friday, February 9, 2024.
The Wildcats will host the Gulfport Admirals on Saturday, February 17th at 6 pm in the 1st Round of the MHSAA 7A Playoffs.
Lady Wildcats place second in district round
The Lady Wildcats came up short against Northwest Rankin by a score of 45-36 in the MHSAA Girls Region 3 7A District Championship game on Friday, February 9, 2024.
Despite the loss, the Lady Wildcats will host Harrison Central in the 1st Round of the MHSAA 7A Playoffs at 6 pm on Friday, February 16, 2024, on the campus of Meridian High School. This marks the first time that the Lady Wildcats and Red Rebelettes play since MHS claimed the MHSAA 6A State Championship with a 49-43 victory on March 5, 2022.
