MHS Baseball honors Senior Wildcats

MHS Baseball Senior Day

Meridian High School will celebrate its senior baseball players and Diamond Girls on Saturday, April 4, prior to the start of the varsity game, honoring their dedication and contributions to the program.

The Senior Day recognition highlighted six student-athletes and one team manager who have played an important role in the success and spirit of the Wildcats baseball program.

Those recognized include #3 Jordan Barfield, #4 Demarcus Portis, #5 Ali Jimerson Jr., #9 Johntavius Ratcliff, #10 Dyon Eason, and #12 Dearrion Ruffin. Team manager Gary Drummond will also be honored for his commitment behind the scenes.

In addition, the MHS Diamond Girls seniors, Saadia McLeod and Aziyah Spencer, will be recognized for their support of the team throughout their high school careers.

Senior Day serves as a special moment for players, families, and fans to celebrate the lasting impact these students have made on Meridian High School baseball.
