Lady Wildcat Volleyball has four All-Academic Team Members

Members of the Meridian High School Volleyball team were recognized for academic excellence by being named to the 7A Region 5 All-Academic Volleyball team.
Congratulations to Lady Wildcats Ana Cruz, Destiny Roberts, Alyssa Thomas, and Demia Warren for their hard work in the classroom and on the court.
"The student-athletes who were selected are all hardworking and diligent in their studies," said MHS Volleyball Coach Jamie Buxton. "It takes a lot of determination to juggle athletics and academics and to excel in both areas."
Students receive this honor for having the highest GPAs on the team and in Region 5.
"I'm truly proud of each of them, and this honor is a testament to the grit and perseverance that they have shown during their tenure with MHS Volleyball," said Buxton.
