Chess players compete in Wildcat Cup

On Saturday, February 21, 2026, chess players from Meridian High School, Northwest Middle School, and Jackson Preparatory School participated in the inaugural Wildcat Cup, which was hosted at Northwest Middle School in Meridian, Mississippi.

The event was a resounding success, advancing the chess program within the Meridian area and providing additional opportunities for players to engage in ranked play.
